krmitchell Extreme Tracker K Joined: Feb 2013 Posts: 4,694	My experience with the SD card readers on tablets is it is painfully slow.....If you have thousands of pictures to go through it will take you all day. I ended up buying a cheap laptop and carry it instead.

I have the Moultrie smartphone reader which I believe is the Gen 1 and it works good with my iPhone but when I tried it with my newly acquired iPad it directed me to install a app but the app is no longer available. Is there anyway I could still use it with the iPad without the app it asked me to download? It looks similar to the BoneView reader.

I'm in the same boat ... wife's iPad had a operating system upgrade and will no longer read using my reader, to add insult to injury my personal iPhone was recently upgraded to later model and can't seem to get an app loaded to use my reader. I have one, you can use it on your iPhone too. The only problem is that you have to import all of the images which can be quite a few. It does work good though.
