I hunted crane Sunday with some family and friends. We hunted south of Lubbock with Crooked Wing Outfitters. We had a blast. Good times in the field. We shot 8 birds. Was hoping for more, but that’s hunting. That's pretty good for the amount of birds I've been seeing. I doesn't seem like a whole lot of birds have arrived around here just yet.
