Is it normal not to see any bucks on your trail cameras? Checked the pics from two feeders we set up about a month ago and had plenty of does throughout the day but saw zero bucks.

You may be feeding where there are only does in the area. Just wait. The bucks will soon show up.

They are there, your cams just not picking them up. I have 3 different mature bucks never show on feeder cams but they do show on cam placed around perimeter of feeder. Girl parties are good!

I've got tons of doe on camera.
But just wait till the rut starts

I'd prefer having does coming rather than Bucks over the last few weeks. Just like your local dance hall on Ladies night. When the time is right, the guys will go to where the gals are.

I went for several months without seeing any decent bucks on my cams. Then a monster buck appeared out of nowhere last month but hasn't shown up since. Since the monster showed up - I've had a steady amount of semi-mature bucks showing up in the game cam. Almost like a switch flipped. I've been feeding all year.

A similar thing happened last year except the bucks showed up earlier. Seemed they started showing up more when the temperatures dropped.

It can very well happen. This isn't exactly your situation, but all year long we've had 2 very nice bucks on the property and just a couple of spikes and then like 2-3 weeks ago out of nowhere a whole bunch of different bucks showed up on the property too. The different times of the year can influence their behavior as well as where they show up. Just give it some time and make sure to keep feeding them.

I agree with the above statements. Bucks will just show up from wherever it is they come from. No rhyme nor reason other than looking for love. If you have doe you will have bucks come looking for them.

Don't change a thing. There are a number of reasons why the bucks may not be coming to your feeders. If the does continue to come to the feeders then all you need to do is be on your stand. Best of luck.

Our bucks don't come to feeders. We get them once a season. They just check does and lucky to get them on cam. But you should get some eventually.

You have the best you can hope for with new feeder sets. Does give you a much better chance a mature buck will come in.

Where I am (Deep East Texas), it is very unusual to see a 'mature' buck at a feeder.

Post rut and after the season....sometimes, but generally they just cruise around the perimeter, sticking to cover and looking for does.

We run feeders to keep the Does in the area. The Does are the 'bait' for bucks. Now... I do have mature bucks stop and feed on hand broadcast corn I've thrown out in secluded spots or shooting lanes, but you normally won't catch one under a feeder.

It's very different here than other places in the State (Hill Country, South Texas, parts of West Texas).
