Molly is a 10 month old 5/8 Catahoula, 1/4 BMC, 1/8 Walker Tree Hound pup. We've been training on beef liver drags and mock blood trails throughout the offseason and trailed a couple pigs as well. Last night she recovered her first deer, got the call for an easy track perfect for training. Well ended up finding the doe bedded down 100 yards down the track, jumped her and backed off. About 30 min later we heard the coyotes moving in so we went back after it finding her another 100 yards away dead under a mesquite. Ended up being a lot more difficult track than anticipated but Molly took it in stride, I think she might end up being a good one!
