I have the chance to purchase one these in 257Wby with a leupold on it. Not sure exactly which leupold yet.
The gun is in excellent shape. Shot minimally.
What would approx value be on this? Im not worried about the scope

Actually picking it up for $800
Have choice of 24" or 26" barrel.
I may buy both of them.

I'd stay with the 26" if I could only have one.

in that caliber you need a 26" barrel.

if you get a 24" barrel all you have is a loud and expensive to shoot .25-06

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.
