Just noticed that the season for Lubbock opened this weekend then apparently closes and reopens November 1st. The season for Lavaca county opens next weekend which is down south but Tarrant county up North does not open until November 9th...Not following the logic behind the counties up North not being the same and in some cases being later than the ones down South. Anybody know what’s the reason behind any of this?

Panhandle/ hpmmu has always been earlier and knocked their split out the 1st week of season.
Been doing the south zone earlier than the north zone for several years now. Guess they get teal wintering early idk.

I wish the north zone followed the south zone. A week split isnt enough for the birds to settle down. Wish it was a 2 week split
