Yes. I quit drinking on week nights a few weeks ago. Since then I've had a hard time going to sleep. Got back in the gym and that helps, but still takes me several hours of tossing and turning before I can sleep. Couldn't turn the brain off. Started taking melatonin and it works for me, if I double the dose. Just allow yourself 8 hrs of sleep or you'll be groggy.

I’m in Singapore and it’s 4:23 pm right now, I’m at work not up all night lol.

3mg 30 mins before I want to be asleep. Works great for me, not groggy the next morning.

Order slumber from Mtn Ops. They have cider, coco and chia.

I started using it at altitude b/c I was having hard time sleeping, now my wife steals it all the time

In other words it works really well

Melatonin does nothing for me.

8am burning daylight ole son. Short of a hangover which I've not had in many years my body doesn't let me sleep past about 5:30-6

Same. It puts me right to sleep and I get solid/un-interrupted sleep, but definitely harder to get up when the alarm goes off.

After two 3mg pills I slept 5 hours. I feel the grogginess but it's not much worse than usual guess I'll take three tonight and see if I can get 6 hours..

I just go right to sleep. No help needed. A family member swears by Melatonin when needed.

Just be sure to cycle off if you take it every night like I do. IF you do, you need to look into cycling off of it for several days every so often.

It helps me sleep. I don't feel groggy like I do when I take Ibuprofen PM. Also, I had the melatonin high happen one time and it was pretty intense.

I can sleep without it, but had some problems a few weeks ago and tried it. You'd have sworn I was stoned to the bejeesus the next day. I wasn't externally groggy but my brain was in a fog.

Don't know if it was the melatonin that did it, but the one time I took it I had the wildest, most intense dream you could ever imagine. It was like some type of ancestral memory coming out. Maybe I have those all the time and just don't remember them the next morning, but I'm not taking any chances. Threw a full bottle minus one pill away.

I was taking a high dose for a while trying to sleep after getting out of the army. Had a lot of paranoia going on so it was hard to sleep. I didn't know you are supposed to cycle off the stuff every once and awhile. I was laying in bed and just started laughing, ceiling was spinning, it was like being very stoned on good weed. I woke up my wife because I didn't know what was going on. Had her shut all the windows and check on the kids, I was afraid something was drifting into the house causing it. It was only me though. Talked to the Dr about it and they confirmed it was the melatonin high. Ive never had it happen since.
