Just bought a savage model 10 bull barrel in 6.5 creed and was wanting to put a new stock on it. Is there anywhere around North Tx or Dallas area that I can go and see some in person? Thanks

No. Buy with confidence, I own a couple. Thinking of the At-one?

I like the pro varmint pretty well. It's certainly not a Manners or McMillan, but at the price point it works if you'll bed your action. Put one on my long range 7 mag build.

I just bedded a pro varmit for my father in law it’s a nice stock, I also did two of the at one stocks for my kids because they are in that early teenage years of growing and that stock is full adjustable overall I like the but I favor more blocky chunky feeling stocks.

For the money can’t go wrong if ya hate it I’m sure you can get 80-90% of your money back.

I had one of their laminate Prairie Hunter models. Decent stock and certainly looked nice, but being laminate it was rather heavy.

It's fine for the price point. It's not nearly as comfortable as a Manners or McMillan, but it's also not nearly the price.

I have absolutely no problem with my AT-One fitted to a Savage Axis XP. [Linked Image]

I just bought the lightweight thumbhole and it looks like it will work just fine.

On the SavageShooters forum, the Boyds stocks get good reviews but almost all of them recommend a bed job.

So would I be better off going with a B&C or a hogue stock that is already pillar bedded?

I have both, a B&C M40 and 2 Boyds Pro Varmint. If I was buying again I would go with the B&C. The Boyds are nice but do require a little work with bedding. My Boyds are not pillared. The B&C has the aluminum bedding block for strength.
