Is this buck old enough to shoot? My management group says we can shoot deer 6.5 yo or older...

I agree with Booner1, that is a mature stud of a buck.

He will fit into the program. Post mature.

Truth be told, I believe this buck is at least 7.5 maybe older. He is a buck I think has been coming since we bought the property in 2017, saw him each season but only once, last year he was a dandy. He has slid a little since last year. I don’t have great pics of him from years past but I will try to post some of him through the years.

Here’s some pics of the buck above from the last couple years. First one is from 2017 season, and the last two 2018 season.

And these were pics from last night. The previous two seasons he hung at this feeder all spring and summer only to move to another in the fall. We saw him once every season, couldn’t get a shot, then he left until the following spring. Last night was the first I have seen of him since last November, so happy to see he is still around. Maybe he will be old enough to allow a shot this year. Here’s some more pics of him from last night. I tried to adjust the pics as these are low quality from a cell camera

Oh, one last thing, I can shoot him whenever I want. My management plan is not 6.5 yo or older

If I can mark, he’s been a very hidden deer these last three seasons!

Yep! That one should be within your trophy management guidelines as a shooter.
