Last week getting off the train, this guy runs past me to get past the cross walk to "beat the train", bumping me "sorry" as he squeezes by me and the rail track ledge to make the corner. No biggie, just another jerk in a hurry. Then I see him get in a handicap spot, that really pissed me off. I tell everyone around me "you see that guy, runs past all of us and gets in handicap spot?" Then this morning, same guy, zooms past me as the train comes, to get a ticket cuz he is too lazy to get one ahead of time, I look back and see his red Honda in same handicap parking spot, can you report people like this? Burns me up.

Did you notice the license plate om the car? No, but I bet I see him and his car again. He did have a handicap permit hanging from window.

Not all disabilities are visible, so there's a small sliver of a chance the guy's not a fraud.

Not a lot you can do if there is a plate on the car or a hanging permit in the window. Could report it. Maybe he is not the one that is assigned the plate/permit. That said, it would be a darn shame if he “accidentally” trips on his next exodus from the train.

I can’t stand it when people park in the handicap spot!!! Really burns me up.
I’ve also known others who won’t go to a regular stall to go #2. They say they want more space. That’s crap (no pun intended). Can you imagine being in a chair really having to go only to find out the stall is occupied when several regular stalls are available? I bet they see it all the time. Jerks!

The hanging blue tag is either his or might belong to someone he know. Mostly likely his, and he might be legit But I did know one guy that used his dad's blue tag, until he was caught using it. Even had the paperwork for it, seems dad and he had the same first name.

Not all disabilities are visible, so there's a small sliver of a chance the guy's not a fraud. If you can "run" 100 yards to a train, you can walk 150 to 200 yards like everyone else. No?

I see teenagers drive up in a grandparents car with a handicapped permit at HEB often, and then park in the handicap spot. Ticks me off. Ever notice how far the handicapped spaces are from the door at Bass Pro or Cabelas? They are farther away than the farthest regular spot at some stores.

Usually a doctor writes a prescription for the person to get disability plates.

I know a person that periodically does something similar. I was steamed about it too. Then I found out his spouse is a complete invalid. He has to bathe her, carry her anywhere in the house (or load her into the wheelchair and push her), feed her, and spent thousands remodeling their house to be ADA friendly, etc. He was an avid hunter and now hasn't been in the woods in over a decade because he has no help/support at home to take care of his wife. If parking in a handicap spot once in a while gives him a few seconds of comfort, so be it.
Now, I just thank God when I pass the handicap spot that I can walk that far and am not in a situation like that.

My mom always said it wont hurt you to walk and I have embraced it. I love going for a walk. I hate to see people abuse handicapped permits and I know it happens all the time. I had some buddies in college that were just out of the military going to school at a&m that used some form or other of "disability" to get a handicapped permit which was a huge +. Their disability didn't keep them from partying, skiing, playing intramural sports etc. My FIL has a bad knee, a bad ankle, bad balance, a replaced knee, and drop foot. He has issues walking sometimes, pain, and falls sometimes, wears a brace and has a legit handicapped permit. It pizzes me off when we go somewhere with them and there are two spaces open one handicapped and one not right next to each other in a convenient space and he will take the non handicappeded one
It's hell eatin em live

Happens frequently. Even people parking right up front without a permit or plates, and the person driving stays in the car or truck and passenger gets out and runs in. I guess as along as the motor is running it makes it alright. It's just abuse at it's finest!

My wife and myself both have a permit but only use them when our health conditions flare up too much to walk easily. Most of the time you can find a spot just as close or closer.

The Kroger where we buy our groceries has handicap parking and parking designated for senior citizens. Even though I certainly qualify for the senior parking I still park out in the parking lot and walk to the store as I'm still capable of walking and thankful for it. What burns my butt is seeing people that are probably in the 20's or 30's parking in the senior spaces up next to the store. I know that they aren't breaking any laws, just being inconsiderate of the seniors who could actually use the spaces.
