How many of you read the edit reasons? I do. And when I include one it's normally written just to see if anybody is paying attention and will comment on it.

I sometimes unclick that it's been edited if it was a simple spelling mistake I made, but I def pay attention to some of them. It's quite funny at times.

When I edit I usually make it loud and clear. Generally to correct myself or add information.

I use the edit button if editing someones post, unless I was ask to edit that post by the poster

Same. 99% of times I edit it immediately due to grammar or because I wanted to add something. Since the edit reason doesn’t show up when your post has been quoted, I usually add “Edit: [insert additional text]”at the end.

It's probably because you are 6'2 and weight 240. Smaller people don't trouble themselves with edits.

Judd - a total missed opportunity. I should have said:

I typically only edit for spelling reasons. I've never payed any attention to the edit comments. I'm gonna have to from now on.

If I edit for a typo I don't mark it as edited. If I have an item in the classifieds and it sells I'll add the reason for editing the post as being sold.

I only use edited, when I change or add content, I don't show simple spelling, punctuation, or grammar changes.

I will sometimes edit my edit reason but there is not edit place for that so my first reason for it will never be known by anyone, or the real reason for the first edit to begin with, hope that makes sense.
