American-born Israeli woman, 26, sentenced 7.5 years in Russian Prison for 9 grams (5 joints worth) of cannabis. https://www.foxnews.com/world/american-israeli-woman-sentenced-russia-prison-cannabisA 26-year-old woman with dual American and Israeli citizenship who has been jailed in Russia since April after authorities allegedly found nine grams of cannabis in her luggage, has been sentenced to seven and a half years in prison, her sister said. Naama Issachar's sister, Liad Gold, told Fox News on Sunday that her sister was sentenced Friday and the family has reached out to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for her. She said the prime minister called their mother the day of the sentencing to let her know that he will do everything he can to have her released as soon as possible.

No they don't even thing about playing around. Going thru customs in Moscow was a little bit different. It wasn't any harder than England and easier than Mexico.

At the Puerto Rico airport the drug dog showed up in our waiting area. A woman got up and hurried away before the dog got too close. The funny part, she had requested wheelchair assistance to the gate.

Ever been to the Denver airport? Signs everywhere and the BIG line painted on the floor and walls. On one side you are under City of Denver control and pot is legal.
Once you cross the line you are under Federal control and it isn't. And people still get popped all the time.

Why would anyone risk that much potential time in prison for a short visit to Russia ? When they say it's not addictive, usually they're referring to the physical dependence aspect of it. Heroin, alcohol, pills, and even nicotine typically come with physical withdrawal symptoms that affect your bodily functions (dope sickness) when stopped suddenly. Potheads might have some mental withdrawal symptoms but it wont kill you or make you sick. Anything in this world can be mentally addictive. Video games, pornography, chocolate, hunting/fishing, you name it.
