Mary Hardin-Baylor (D-III in Belton, TX) just had their victories from 2016-2017 (and a national champion ship) revoked by the NCAA because apparently loaning a player a 10 year old Subaru is against the rules. The coach has already been suspended 3 months with pay and takes responsibility. Interesting read on the news outlets. Your comments....

Wonder what they will do t the state of California when they start paying their players? If I was a betting man I would bet "Nothing", too much money involved.

Just like the Baylor example I posted a couple weeks ago where their starting Running Back was a walk-on, not on scholarship, did not have a permanent residence in Waco, alumni paid for small apartment or gave him a place to live... NCAA tossed him, fined the school, etc. I get there can be abuses, but the lightning rod from the NCAA god on anything they choose is BS. Charlie

Some of those NCAA rules are really effing stupid. Some? You mean All NCAA doesn’t care about students they care about their coffers. DIII is non scholarship, no Bowl games, no TV contracts, essentially zero pro recruitment..... that coach might of made 70k, and he loaned a player a 10 year old car... mind blowing. The NCAA sold a signed JM jersey for more then that car was worth, and they kept the money it wasn’t a loan
