Have a litter that hit the ground Monday morning. I’ll post up pick a little later. Sire is a FC. Both Pedigrees are littered with Hall of Fame dogs if that means anything. [Linked Image]

What are you asking for them?

Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner. A Republic is a well-armed sheep.

NAFC/FC/AFC PFK Dunfur’s Morticia 2005
DC Hillhaven’s Hustler 2009

This litter was DNA tested and certified genetically clear for Von Willibrand's Type 2 disease. Both parents were DNA tested and clear for Cone Degeneration Disease. Both have had clear hip exams.

Both male and females will be $800 and will be intact. All the pups will be wormed and have their first round of shots. The litter is registered with AKC and have DNA certifications.

Both of these dogs have great noses and tons of drive. Blue is a rangey dog having been trained off horseback. My dog Rosie was trained to hunt closer in, ranging out to a hundred yards due to my bad knees. At 11 months old she tracked a wounded doe for 450 yards down the side of a bluff into a briar thicket where crawling on hands and knees we were able to retrieve it. On another occasion she tracked a hog I shot off the side of the bluff where she found the downed sow but also the rest of the sounder. She stayed on point the whole time while I got into position and shot one of the other sows.

Both these dogs are great locators and retrievers that will hold a point for 10's of minutes. Not sure about Blue's tracking ability, being a field trial dog, I bet he has never had the chance but probably as good as any other GSP is at finding game.

My lease has very few wild quail. I have trained my dog with breeder quail and it is always fun to release a bunch of birds and let her locate them. It seems that every year by December all the quail on our place have disappeared. These dogs don't spook. I started mine off Dove hunting by staking her about 30 yards from me. After downing a bird, I would leash the dog and take her to the general area for release. She's never failed to locate a dove for me and by the second hunt she remained by my side during and after the shot.

Yes. However, neither are 100% liver. The male has white feet tips and the female has a white chest patch.

Blazing Ace and Reddirt Roadie found themselves a couple great hunting partners. Better yet, come this time next year Roadie and Ace will take you hunting with Eldena Sterns at her Santa Anna Hunting Area. [Linked Image]
