I'm currently going to school out of state and trying to book a couple flights home to hunt on our new lease this fall. It 's in Jack County west of Ft. Worth about an hour or so and wanted to know if any of yall in that area happen to know what are the typical pre-rut, rut and post-rut dates? I'm trying to book good flight dates to best up my chances! Thanks in advance

I love lamp

No idea about dates but in the last couple of days I’ve seen 2 bunches of just kicked off yearlings. 8 in one bunch and 5 in another. I’m in Montague County just South of Bowie

The first two weeks of the season are usually peak in Palo Pinto county, pretty close to Jack county.

As accurate as anything you'll hear or find ---> TPWD Rut in Whitetail deer

Find your area, look at the chart.
