Not for action shooting, for shooting groups and long range.

Dots aren’t great for groups and long range.... anything.

Best "dot" scope? For shooting groups and long range? This does not compute. But, if I'm putting a dot scope on a pistol and not for action competition, I'd slap a TRS25 on it and call it good. 3 MOA dot.

I use a Burris FF3 on my S&W 460 XVR. It holds a 3 inch group at 100 yards with the 3moa dot. I’ve shot it out to 200 yards, 4 out of 5 hits landed on a 6 inch steel plate. Good enough for me to hunt with and has handled that recoil like a champ.

I went with this one also. Got a great deal at Cabelas plus my points. Took forever and the Cabelas "system" sux.
