Ive fried it and grilled/smoked it before. Never tasted bad, but not something I care to put effort into again. I'm right there with you. Not bad by any means

That is a good size one. Lean muscle meat for sure. Had some wrapped, packaged and marked in the freezer. Wife was digging through packages in freezer and ran across them. They still scared her. LOL Spice or chicken rub looks good. Tony Chacheres creole work good also. Thanks

reminds me of the 6 footer I killed years ago late one night outside our garage. I chopped off its head and dropped the whole thing in a black trash bag, placed in the freezer to tend to later. A couple of days later, I get a call at work from my wife who proceeded to chew me out pretty good since he was digging in the freezer looking for something to prepare for dinner and came across the bagged snake ... ummm, I told her I killed a snake but I guess I forgot to tell her that I put it in the freezer
