The sagging belly and thick neck tells me this is an old buck with a rack that's on the downhill slide as well.

Would you agree?

Glad you asked. I have another photo shown below but don't think it's the same deer, even though the racks are similar.

So the bigger question might be do the photos show the same or different bucks?

I'm seeing thinner loins and neck on the buck below.

Looks like the same one to me. 3.5 yo and probably not quite 13"

I think diff bucks. More separation between right g2 and g3 on first buck and G3 slants forward more on first buck. Really hard to tell though in those pics. First buck looks older than second but need better pics.

The first picture is a little fuzzy and the angles are different but I think we may be looking at father and son, no?

Same buck....different angles account for perceptions of body size/condition. NOT an 'old' deer.

I'm with freerange. Could be the same deer but different body sizes or maybe camera angle..

Found this photo of him on my camera yesterday. The neck may just be swollen for the rut. Body still seems to look bigger in this photo. I'm back to leaning towards two different bucks. Hopefully I'll get the chance to check him out from the stand.

His legs look very long in comparison to his body = young buck. IMO

Good point. All the characteristics must be there before you can make a final call.

Need a better picture, especially of the head. Neck looks big & belly slightly sagging, but back is straight. Big body overall. It's a coin toss from your camera picture. Nice buck no matter how old he is though! up

The second picture is a different deer in my opinion.
