And drank the Kool Ade. I saw where BPS/Cabelas was selling a 6.5 Creedmoor with a sling for $229. That is after they send you a $50 gift card so really paid $280 plus sales tax with a $50 gift card coming my way. I've been wanting to fool around with the most hyped gun since the AR's came out. Wife said that our Grandsons 21st birthday is coming up so buy one for him. So I got 2. It's a Thompson Center which I know nothing about.

Then a couple of boxes of ammo, a scope for his rifle and, less military discount, then some Cabelas Club points the bargain cost me only $816, I sure hope we like them more than I like $816.

I have a TC rifle, and I have been VERY pleased with it. Shot sub MOA with dang near every type of ammo I tried. I just forwarded on that Cabelas ad for this deal to a few buddies earlier today. up

It just may be. But, it’s new to me and something to play with to work up the right loads.

To complete rifle set-up's for $816.00 you can't go wrong. Please share the range report once you have them dialed in. For off the shelf ammo my weatherby VANGUARD 6.5 CM likes Nosler 140 gr loads if this helps.
