Going to be in Abilene this weekend, are there any good places for chicken fried steak?
Thanks in advance

Beehive in Abilene is the best for everything, I have eaten there a couple dozen times and like everything on the menu. However, I almost always get the fillet.

RBar is dive-ish. Their lunch CFS has jalapeño gravy that’s awesome.

That being said, I’ll throw in another rec for beehive

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I love prime rib and have heard about Beehive in Albany for a long time. My wife and I finally made it there last weekend and I was disappointed. $40 for a prime rib that was kind of mushy and stringy; I've had much better. frown
