I don't know anything about this modification. I've had 4WD vehicles all my life but ran them stock. The worst they see is sticky mud at the lease here in north Texas. I have a new F150 with the FX4 package, 20" wheels. I'm not wanting anything aggressive, just raise the front end to give it a more level look without putting a strain on front end parts or wreck the great gas mileage I'm getting. This twin turbo ECO Boost runs great. A dealer ship is wanting to sell me a level kit installed with an alignment for about $850.00. They tell me they go the extra mile and install camber bolts that allow for a better adjustment on camber. A local shop with a good reputation tells me I don't need them and will do a level kit install with alignment for $450.00. Both prices are for a 2" level. I've had the truck 6 months and am really happy with the ride and mileage. What do ya'll say?

I have no input, but have been wanting to do the same thing with my 2019 Platinum EcoBoost. Love the truck just wish the front was 1.5-2 inches taller. Would love to see everyone’s thoughts on this!

Price sounds extremely high at the dealer. If it can be aligned to spec I don’t see a reason to do the bolts personally.

I'm with jhenderson, if it aligns to spec no reason. I've installed a bunch of them, never had one need camber adjustment, usually use 1.5" 'kit'. This is what I would use, they have from 1.5" ~ 2.5" kits. ---> Autospring 1.5"

That's good to know, I appreciate the feedback. Rustler, can you recommend the shop you used, and you have any before/after pic's of the 1-1/2" level? I'd like to not go over 2", if I could get the results I'm after with the 1-1/2" I'd do it. Thanks.

I don't have any pictures, did 99% for freinds realitives & acquaintances. Never paid a shop to install, simple bolt off bolt on installation. With hand tools jacks & jack stands easy to do with basic mechanical aptitude. Then to the dealer, tire shop / anywhere trustable for an alignment check & toe in/out adjustment. If you go with the source I linked to they usually give slightly more 'lift' than stated, slightly. On a flat surface measure from ground through center line of wheel to edge of fender lip/edge front & rear. Notate the difference, pick the kit that will give the look you're after. To me they look best with the rear still at least an inch higher. For me a level pickup is useless, put a couple hundred lbs in the bed or hook up a trailer you end up nose high. AS used to have before & after pictures on their site, give them a call, always been friendly helpful folks.

Keep it below 3" and should not have any special needs parts wise to get a proper alignment. If you spend any time off road the I would skip the spacer blocks and go with an adjustable coil over. Those spacers can stress the shocks. I went with Bilstein 6112s preassembled. I installed myself for $750 + $80 alignment. The dealer's price is way too high for what you are getting. My toe was just slightly off. I little less expense that the 6112s is to go with a 5100.

I went with Bilsteins height adjustable struts. Great ride, perfect look that I wanted. Had the shop set them at the max of 2" to the front, no modification to the back.

That looks awesome. Are you perfectly level or do you still have a little rake? I was looking at those same Bilsteins for mine....

Had the shop set them at the max of 2" to the front, no modification to the back. only 2 problems here #1 it is a Ford and #2 it is black. Like I said in a previous post I put the 6112s on mine. I replaced the whole assembly and sold the OEMs.
