on my trail cameras I am getting strange pics...I thought it was an individual with an infa red scope beam. is this possible.

Can you point an IR Illuminator at a camera and see it? Sure, but they need to be close enough to also trip the camera to go off.
Post a couple of your pics.

Here is what an IR Flash looks like on a trail cam. I use two cams on some of my feed pens that have two protein feeders or on a bowblind. The first pic is from a camera on the far south end of the pen facing a corn feeder. The next two pics are from the far north end of the pen facing the protein feeder. This camera had low batteries to the flash was not very bright. This last pic is from a camera outside the feed pen on corn feeder. The IR flash is appearing to be a bright shining light with the other camera. Is this similar what you are seeing?
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?
