Free to a good home. Not housebroken, seems to have an attitude. grin

Seriously, I've been trying to trap and "rehome" a few squirrels who are decimating my pecan crop. I think the squirrels are getting trap smart, unlike this guy.

It's a RUGER, for cryin' out loud; "What's the round count?" or "How many rounds down the tube?" are irrelevant!

Buddy of mine catches them in traps like that, but then he will pick them up and hold them. He says that it usually takes about five minutes for them to calm down, and then they become friendly. I've never tried it, and really don't want to, but he posts pictures of them sitting on his lap, or petting them all the time on FB. But I've seen him reach into a prairie dog hole and pull one out with his hands, so he's a little different then most people.

Need to watch this if you have squirrel problems.

That's a neat solution, Vern! I tried a similar approach several years back:

[Linked Image]

I watched one squirrel go for the bait; wish I'd of gotten it on video, 'cuz it was hilarious. The little rat put its front paws on the glue, then turned around to leave but pushed off with back feet on the glue. He got his tail glued too, and dropped off the plank kicking and scrambling away. He dragged the glue board about 20 feet before getting free of it, minus a bunch of tail fur. Never saw that one again...
