Just been kicking around aquiring a truck beater

It’s been just an 870 for a few years, just behind the seat and forget deal

The PSA AK is considered to be one of the best currently built. I did months of research before I bought one. There are plenty of reviews, range reports and torture tests for you to spend hours reading. I feel like mine was $459 well spent. 2cents

Their price is right for sure

They sucked me in with their 9mm pistol AK, and it is a lot of fun
...but (even in 7.62x39), I still prefer the AR.

I built a PSA AK 47 and it was a good AK with the aftermarket trigger making a lot of difference (ALG about $65?). I sold it as I guess I am an AR guy. I then built a PSA AR 47 and I love it. Put a muzzle brake on it with some other after market items.

they are a POS, ammo eater but this is what makes them appealing to many a magazine dumper.

BUT

I would NEVER tell any "good guy" they shouldn't buy one.

Do you have any experience with the PSA, or are you just running your mouth as usual?

And if you do have experience with the PSA, why is it a pile?

From all the reviews by people who know much more than me, it sounds like they are building them right. Good forged trunnions and barrels. No real major issues. Really good price. Also keep in mind PSA bought DDI, a very reputable AK builder, a few years ago.

I am not really an AK guy, but if I were to get into one it would be either a PSA or a WASR 10.

Also their shorty with the triangle folding brace looks pretty good. That would get my vote for a truck gun.

Not sure what the internet megaphone is belching these days - but I know four people who own, shoot them a lot - and still like them. All four recommended going PSA when I was looking at buying a WSAR AK.

I’m betting his negativity is towards AK’s in general

I'm betting his negativity is based on how many 12 packs of Coors Light he had that evening.
