Made a batch of bacon wrapped chicken legs. Seasoned with some “kick’n chicken seasoning and basted toward the end with BBQ sauce and smoked on the Traeger using Competition Blend pellets.
Grandboys really love these as do Grammy and myself. Very tasty!

Great presentation.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

Using my Traeger, I smoked them for about 45.mins and then cranked the temp up to 350 and cooked them about 1 hr more. I was checking them at about the 35 min mark and basted with BBQ sauce about 20 mins before I pulled them. I let them hit 165-170 degrees before pulling them. They were some good sized legs so the temp probe was useful as they needed a bit longer cook time than I expected.

Going to try these today on my pitboss pellet grill. Do you precook the bacon?

I am not a fan of chicken on the bone at all, but looks like you did a great job.

I did not precook the bacon and I used thin cut bacon.
We were surprised how much more we liked the ones with BBQ sauce (Head Country) compared to the ones we left without as requested by the youngest grandson.

Can’t wait to hear your review!
