I got a new truck but I think I want to put Michelin’s on it . How much is fair ? Takeoffs would be Goodyear dura trac

See what is on Craigs List. If you are keeping your wheels this isn't apples to apples. From Craigs List I bought five new Rubicon wheels with BF Goodrich Mud Terrains for my Jeep Wrangler for $1,000 from a tire shop in Garland last year. They still had stubbles on the tread.

Check facebook marketplace and craigslist for similar tires. If you're buying your new tires at Discount Tire I would see what they'll give you for trade. I usually sell mine, but the last time I bought new tires they gave me just a little less than what I was seeing them go for online without the hassle of selling them. I had no intention of trading them at DT but they asked me so I let them give me a quote and it worked out great for me. It's hit and miss with them, but I would check just in case.

The 70k michelins are all I run on my tundra. You will love them. Great in ice and snow too. You have around $1000 worth of tire on the truck currently...installed price. I have seen places sell them anywhere from $500-800....good luck.
