NOT MY VIDEO !!!!

Is he ahead of his time ? Or out of his mind !

I wonder if the rifle safety is constantly off and while it’s bouncing around If the trigger mechanism is engaged

Something about that has to be illegal, LOL.

Legal or not, that is some of the poorest application of technology I have seen in a while. Say you spot the hogs with your drone. That creepy herky jerky robot car isn't creeping up on anything still alive in order to get a shot.

#2. That second machine better have some defensive weaponry. Or the swine will shred it.

First, I delisted that video and replaced it with a slightly longer one:

But it can easily hunt hog. With the generator off it makes less noise than most things hogs in Florida are used to. Anyway here is a video shooting a hog:

The robot is made of steel and can stomp on anything made of flesh. I am not sure if someone is saying both 1) it will spook the hogs, and 2) hogs will come toward it and "shred" it.

LOL, that generator is very loud.

Oh no doubt it can shoot. We had setups like that in Texas back in 2005 that were used for remote (internet) hunting before becoming outlawed (except for use by handicapped people). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_hunting These were brought in, in some cases, on a trailer that was left in place next to a feeding area the operator simply waited for hogs to arrive, sight in on a target, and press a button. That is pretty much what you had going on. The only difference is that your unit drove from the trailer to the hunting spot on its own loud and clunky sounding power at some point well before the hogs arrived. If you had scouted the area with the drone and driven the robot in to shoot at the hogs that were in place, then I am sure you would have had video of it, LOL.

However, I am sure this is just a prototype and there will be improvements that result in a quieter and more efficient robot that can actually stalk.

What is the purpose of the vehicle if you are always going to be with it?

Guns are noisy and dangerous. "Always" is a long time, but with the robot I will hopefully always be at least a few feet away from the gun when it goes off.

I do have some video of when I wasn't with the robot, e.g. singing karaoke. You want a link?

You know, hearing protection and or a suppressor would be less expensive alternatives to dealing with the noise being so loud to you.

Sadly, the guy who made that video shot himself and died over the weekend.

I’m so confused by the design of the machine and this post ...

I believe he explained his design philosophy in this post http://confederaterobot.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10 which I will simply quote here to save you clicking on it:

*********************************************************************************************************************************
A lot of folks ask me "Coronelle Steve, how come is it that your electric slave has X-shaped wheels?"

An X-shaped wheel pays homage to the Confederate Flag. A round wheel pays homage to that muslim crescent flag. An X-shaped wheel also pays homage to the cross upon which the Risen Christ died for your sins and mine. People think they are rolling much smoother on a round wheel. But if you are rolling ungodly, then come the day of perdition you won't be rolling at all. That is why these are the same wheels I have on my truck, and on my private airplane that I own together with my Uncle and some other members of my extended family.

Another thing the X-shaped wheel does, is inoculate Ms. Bunny against the Devil's device, stairs. Kind of like Cotton Mather inoculated folks with the cow pox. People become proud, and they want to use stairs to try to be up on high, like unto God himself. Or a musician may sell his soul for the proverbial "stairway to heaven." A fancy man might imagine that he is riding high with his many floors, like the Tower of Babel. But on the day of perdition, Ms. Bunny is going to come up those stairs and smite thee.

So what you are explaining is that Steve was guano crazy. Got it.

I don't know about the rifle on the robot, but he would minimally need a permit for "observing" game with the drone. I wish I had that much extra time on my hands...
