Seriously! That's not bow hunting weather. I'm so motivated to go, then I'm not. Sitting in the stand in the afternoon at 95 degrees, I will be sweating my butt off.

Should be a nice breeze. My south wind stand has good shade in the evening. Cameras are showing deer during legal shooting time. I'm going.

I'm gonna be sticking it out. I've had really good luck hunting the archery opener. Just gonna bring a lot of water.

Highs in mid 80's next weekend and low 80s the following weekend. I can wait one more week. I'm not that mad at them anymore.

First year I’m retired so no more sweating for me. I will go when it’s cooler.

"Opening Weekend" is, always was, and always will be, the first weekend of traditional rifle hunting deer season, usually, for many years, the first weekend in November. No matter what all you MLD, youth, pointed stick goobers say. laugh

I will agree.

September bowhunting in Colorado is awesome. September bowhunting in Texas is a sweat fest.

It’s gonna be interesting to see how good it is, due to the acorn crop. Haven’t been seeing but a couple bucks on camera this past month

I do enjoy a good bowhunt on a cool crisp October day though
