I have a Spectre II and am quite happy with it.. had it about 5 years I guess
I have tested a lot of them and frankly, they are all pretty much the same..
There just isn't that much audible difference between them.

This is a compilation of quite a few we i reviews on.

It is impossible to get REAL #s without a DB meter that costs around 10k
And very hard to get the audio to accurately represent on a Youtube video.
I am a guitarist and have plenty of studio/recording/audio experience..

I upgraded my audio setup quite a bit since these were taken in an effort to get better results.
About to start back up doing more so if there is something the Silencer Shop sells we don't have a review on let me know, I will see if they have one in the demo pool.

My first suppressor took less than a year to receive. Any one recommend a place to buy ?

I'm leaning towards the Q El Camino and AAC Element Il

also like the Mask

I sent a note to my guy at Silencer Shop to see whats available for newer stuff.
I am interested in the Rugged Oculus for sure.
I love my Obsidian 45 and think they do good work.

I do like the modular cans, being able to run a shorter/longer config depending on what I am doing.

They are in Austin but also are setup as a distributor for a lot of shops around the country..
You can go to their website and do the whole transaction there... you can put in your zipcode and see participating dealers

They do make it simpler to buy, you can do a trust, etc.. all online

Buzz why get another 22 suppressor? If it’s the only one you have I’d get a centerfire rifle 30cal suppressor instead of another 22 suppressor. 30cal will do almost all your Center fire calibers make sure it is rated for magnums and that one suppressor will cover a bunch of guns.

I have the Omega 30 TI. I believe I also bought the adapter to reduce threads. I just hate shooting dirty azz .22's through it. Not in a hurry and want a .22 suppressor. Got to have my Sako threaded too.

Sorry I misread the first post. Thought you already had a Rimfire suppressor.

I get mine at Defender Outdoors in Fort Worth. They have a Silencer Shop kiosk in the store. They matched Silencer Shops price on the last couple I've gotten. Using the kiosk is so easy. It took about 10-15 minutes and then you auto sign the paperwork on your phone the next day. Silencer Shop does all the rest.

The Silencer Shop is who supplies them with the Kiosk.. they designed it, had it manufactured and installed for their participating dealers..

Dave the owner is a programmer and that is the key to their success....
He bought his first suppressor years ago for his son who suffered with hearing issue and was so frustrated at the process and misinformation that he decided there has to be a better way. Most gun shops are gun guys, not bookkeepers and dealing with the ATF on silencers becomes a nightmare for them trying to do it manually. Especially if they start to sell lot of them, that's what happened with Major Malfunction out of OK, they simply could not handle the volume and were hiring people that didn't know what they were doing, lacked training and ultimately put themselves out of business.

Dave worked with the ATF and automated the process as much as possible.
Wicked smart dude with a very dry sense of humor that I find funny as hell, fun guy to hang out with, been out several times pig hunting with him, he is a good dude.
When I first met him he was doing it out of his house moving 6-800 cans a month.
Their shop in Austin is 10 minutes from me and they have had to expand.

Going into the vault of suppressors is a thing of beauty.

Buzz,

If you go Silencer Shop, you can choose Hart Sports in Plano. He is an FFL and class 3 dealer with a silencer shop kiosk in his house. Used him mine and all my firearm transfers. Really good guy. Silencer shop handles the transfer fee to dealer as well.

I ended up with a thunderbeast. Loved my 30CB9 and picked up a 22 takedown in a snipershide buy. 22, 17hmr, 22wmr and 5.7 rated. I run it on a savage mkii FVSR and a S&W M&P compact 22 pistol
