Has anyone ever built a permanent winch up feeder? I have two but the tri-pods are going bad and thought I could build something out of 2-3/8" drill pipe and set it in concrete.

How the heck are your tripods going bad? We have some still going that are close to two decades old. Are you using pipe or square tube? What thickness? Painting or leaving to rust and now it's deteriorating?

Sucks man. A rattle can every year will do wonders, then it's just a matter of WD-40 for pulleys
