I'm just curious as to the point of this. Is it the equivalent of walking away? Slamming the door on the way out? Saying goodbye?

Have you used it? If so, why?

I think it can be when someone deletes the pm, but it can also be used as a screw you.

Like if your butt hurt about a situation because someone played a joke on you....

Pretty sure it's when they delete the message to make room in their box.

It's 100% personal...you should be very offended and triggered.....

I remove myself from most of the conversations I have with myself.

I mean really! They might as well slap you, your Mom, and little sister RIGHT in the face! Pa-pow!!!!



There are certain conversations that happen that I feel should end with at least a “ ok well good talk coach” or a “catch ya later” Those kinda feel weird but it’s whatevs.

Yeah, it’s just to make room in their inbox. Don’t take it personal.

I use it to clean out my PMs. If I buy or sell something with another member, I clean up after a couple days. I hate a trashy inbox.

I think its because the party that removes himself is saying,...."I'm removing myself from this conversation!"
Otherwise you will answer back to his last reply, and then you feel that you need to respond back to his, and then he feels he has to respond back, etc. etc. etc.
I've never done it, but have had it done to me and I remained butt hurt for weeks afterward.
