People are really pretty easy targets, slow with no thick fur or thick skin. We have no claws an our teeth aren't much of a threat. We aren't even particularly strong. I am surprised more folks don't get eaten.

Close call, her running away likely triggered the attack.
A clear conscience is often the sign of a fuzzy memory.

Close call, her running away likely triggered the attack. Yup and when she turned back around once it touched her is when the coyote backed off again. Scary situation.

I would sit on that porch with 22mag till that SOB came back through if that was my house. Lucky little girl.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

Yea, city coyotes tend to be more brave than the ones in my neck of the woods. And yes, she was lucky the coyote was not hungry and/or packed up.
