Many of them start out by saying "Is this Mr. ******* or "can you hear me okay" trying to get you to say "yes". There have been cases of that "yes" being recorded to allow them to have your okay to buy or be charged for something you know nothing about. I got one yesterday, answered "hello", first thing she said was "can you hear me okay"?. I said "I can", click*. I try to remember to never answer yes to anything from a caller whom I don't know.
