I think it would only benefit those folks in the energy business. The rest of the country would suffer, maybe even contribute to a slowdown.

I should have filled up on Sunday or Monday. Price jumped .25/gal this morning at Kroger near my house.

Saw gas at 2.04 at a Murphy station Monday morn. Later that day the cheapest I could find it was 2.35. Was kicking myself as well for not filling up that morning.

Enjoy the low price, I paid $2.35 at Brookshires in Hallsville, it was $2.18 on Monday. That was the cheapest I found on my side of Longview.
