WE had a pretty tough opener here at MaxOut! We had some barrel burners but we also had some hunts that were pretty slow. Most of the birds we had worked just like January ducks and would not give it up like the normal BWT usually does! Hope this weather brings some good changes to us on the upper coast!

Ive had a very similar experience. First big group buzzed us turned in and then flared like crazy. I was scratching my head. We typically don't even bother brushing in our layouts and have them landing on our gun barrels while standing in dekes.

It was definitely not typical of early season teal. Hopefully we do better this weekend.

Sure glad somebody got into some birds with ya'll. My hunt with ya'll last Saturday wasn't as fruitful.
