What do ya know - I'm an environmentalist. 》》Unethical upgrade iPhone

Interesting perspective. I never bought into all the hype anyway. Plus, I'm an old android guy. I've known people that have watched on TV every iPhone unveiling religiously. I'm not talking about a young person either. It does border on religion.

I don't hang on every release. I went from a flip phone to an Iphone 4 to a 7. When my 7 dies I'll get whatever is out then. I'm driving a 2012 vehicle only because my 2008 was totalled. I plan to drive it at least 4-5 more years at which point I'll be around 200,000 miles. I've never been one to rush out and get new stuff for the sake of new stuff.

Lol I’m still rockin a 6 plus. It gets me on the internet, makes calls and texts. That’s really all I use it for. When it breaks, I guess I will get a new version, but not till then.

I never had an interest in Apple products. Too proprietary for my liking.

I'm still using my iPhone 4s. I did have to change the battery though.

I'm considering converting back to a flip phone. Don't like all these ears I have around me now. I have them in my house, my truck, my phone... pretty much anything I say is being heard by a device at anytime.

I was doing fine with my old technology dumb phone, and had been happy with it for years. It was pretty old and never ever had even one update. Perfect...or so I thought. But then some idiot ran us off the road and into some small trees. Totaled the SUV. Raining cats and dogs. The tomcat was in a carrier in the back and was showing major displeasure. It was then, just sitting there in my bent up SUV, frustrated and totally PO’d, that I realized that I needed to make a lot of phone calls - DPS, tow truck, Insurance guy, car rental place, and such as that. I had none of those numbers, but my wife had it all on her iPhone, and she even had search engines to get numbers she didn’t already have. So I quit being a semi-Luddite and got a iPhone 6S. I can’t say that I like it, but in today’s world I needed it. I retain the right, however, to bitch about it when I feel like it.

And it’s always turned off until I need to make a call, after which I turn it off again.
