Try LaFinca in town. A little slow but the food is good.

Not much there. LaFinca, downtown, is good. Denny's, west of town on I-20. Sonic, Subway, Chicken Express, and Dairy Queen on/near 183, just off I-20. Shannon's Burgers was very good, but shut down permanently a couple months ago. JC's Steak House in the community center on the west side of town may be worth a visit; I have never tried it.

I ate at the Cisco DQ yesterday, but not sure I would recommend...

I don't eat at DQ anywhere, just sayin' it's there. I wasn't real impressed with Chicken Express in Cisco, either.

La Finca is ok. If you are there on Friday, Shannon’s off the interstate has all you can eat catfish and it’s great. Anything else they serve is good too, the best salad buffet in that part of the country.

The place is in Eastland, but LaHacienda is pretty good Mexican food.

JC’s steakhouse is pretty darn good. It’s in the Community Center right off of 20. If you want Tex-Mex, drive to Eastland and eat at Pulidos. Usually a food truck or trailer in front of the brewery on Friday and Saturday nights.

You should have been here yesterday!

Shannon's had really good burgers, but as previously stated, they are closed for good. RIP. I would take La Hacienda in Eastland over La Finca, but largely due to the fact they have their liquor license... Have yet to try JC's or Slowpoke Farm Market due to their hours of operation.

I used to go to Guadalajara Taqueria pretty regularly when I had a lease in Cisco. Food wasn't bad. Slightly better than some other mexican restaurants in the area.

I stopped going after they served me queso on one visit that was so thick you could turn the bowl upside down without it spilling. Complained to the server and she said that's how it is. I had ordered it before and never had it that thick. The server was pretty defensive despite me only trying to provide some feedback. No one else was in the restaurant so it's not like my effort to provide feedback was an attempt to cause a scene.

They still charged me for the queso despite not eating it. I didn't ask for it to be free, but because they made no effort to remedy the situation - that was the last time I went there. They literally lost out on hundreds of dollars a year from my business and more from guests who hunted with me. I was going once a weekend every time I hunted.

Still not a bad place to eat. Maybe things have changed since then. I pass by it several times a month and still think about the queso incident... heh.
