One of the girls from my daughter's High School volleyball team wanted to go hunting for her birthday. So I took her and her dad out Saturday night. She connected on a BIG OL' BOAR!!! She's hooked. That’s great. I never hunted growing up, but no one in my immediate family hunted. I do recall the one rabbit hunt I went on with my dad and grandad like it was yesterday. At 54, I spend as much time as possible introducing my family and grandkids to hunting. I hate to wish time away, but I cannot wait until the day my oldest grandson says “I’m ready to shoot a hog or deer”. I’m not going rush him, but I hope he’a ready soon. The biggest challenge is him mom, my oldest daughter, doesn’t think he’s ready.
