Taking different path here folks. Just put a lilja barrel on my CZ455 and using Wolf Match Target ammo I am getting .4" groups at 50 yards.

Decided to try out a small pig for table fare and in attempt to keep the noise level down, deer bow season is coming up, I decided to use the 22LR on
a small pig to keep meat damage down and try out smoking it on my Pit Boss grill.

[Linked Image]

This guy along with 4 others came out 50 yards away and was looking straight at me so I shot her between the eyes. The bullet went thru the skull
and ended lodged half way down one side of the back strap, damn wasted some good meat. Here is the recovered bullet.

[Linked Image]

The 40gr bullet is all intact. Here is the end result after 4 hours of smoking, using hickory pellets, at 200 degrees then turning the temp up to 250
for one final hour. I stopped cooking when the internal temperature got to 170 degrees. The internal meat was juicy and tender beyond belief.
Awesome eating.

I am going to start going after these 10 to 20 lb guys and leave the breeders to multiply !
First time my wife has enjoyed eating wild hog ! Many past attempts ended in disaster.

Very excellent! Nice match of the gear to the target!

^^^^ Agreed, smart choice and that lilja barrel on a CZ is the Cat's Meow.

I've never mounted the .22 barrel on my 455 yet (have the .17 HRM on it) but if the proof target that came with it is any indicator it should shoot pretty well. Might swap it out at some point.

Perfect sized hog for the grill/smoker.

Nice going!
I'm like CharlieCTx — my rifle keeps picking out the largest available target.

Nice! I love when we trap some small ones. Perfect size for the grill!

That size is great table fare. If you do not control the big ones though there will be more of that size than you can at
