Good tires for a F150, 4x4, both on road and in pasture? Reading good reviews for both uses. Can get a set of 4, mounted, balanced and with road hazard package for $1000+++. Good deal?

I assume they're good tires if they're Bridgestones, but I would personally want some more meat on the tread for pasture driving.

look at the cooper at/3, put a set on mine to replace nitto terra grapplers (didn't get the mileage I should have from the nitto) and am getting great wear and they are excellent in wet conditions. light mud they work good, deeper mud they are like any other at, turn into slicks quick.
mine are on a 14 f150. cost a little more but have a 60,000 mile warranty, not many lt tires have any warranty.

I had two sets of Revo 2s and both were outstanding, wet, dry, mud, sand, slick grass, whatever. Extremely quiet on the highway.
I tried to buy 3s the last time I needed tires but they were not yet available and 2s were sold out.

I went with BFGs and they are good everywhere except wet pavement.

The next set will be Bridgestone Revos.

Tire rack has a very good price and a rebate right now.

Good tires no doubt.
Seems kinda steep to me.

Define ' in pasture ' driving.

A few months ago I got a set of Cooper RTX 275/70r18 E load range at NTB road hazard & alignment for $840ish. Buy 3 get 1 free deal.
Have 10,500 on them, doing good so far.

I'm good with tires that balance well, handle the weight I put on them and get reasonable life considering the money spent.

With the exception of Michelin, I can say the more I've spent on tires the less satisfactory they've been.

I've ran the Duelers before. Not bad tires.

You can do better though.

Whatever Discount's cooper discoverer is (AT/3 or ATP). Load range E - you give up a little ride quality for tire longevity but its worth it. For my size (I think they're 285/70/17) I'm running them at 55psi (Per Cooper's instructions since they're on a half ton).

About to turn 70K on this set...should easily push 80K. Cheaper than the Duelers.

Just found out I can get a $100 VISA pre-paid card rebate from Bridgestone via Firestone on the Duelers bringing them to $925 or so, mounted, balanced and with road hazards. The pasture driving will be "light" and road driving much more. Think I'll be pulling the trigger on them this weekend. Thanks

I bought a set of Cooper Discoverer A/T's stock size (265 70 R17) load range E for my Ram 1500 a few weeks ago from Walmart $544 out the door.

I have historically been a Cooper fan...I bought a pair of Cooper Zeon LTZ in January...they were junk by July....cupped and feathered something fierce. I got in a deal where the tire place says it's struts and since truck is under warranty they said nothing wrong with struts that the tires are trash. Rather than waste a bunch of time fighting to get very little help...I replaced them with Nitto Ridge Grapplers....I have less than 5k on them so no real opinion besides, initial impressions are positive and I like the way they look.

A buddy of mine is fighting a set of LOUD Cooper ATP's right now too. I say because something at Cooper has changed and I'm out until I hear they've got stuff figured out.

Mine do make a tad more noise than the goodyears that came on my ram, but they are quite a bit more aggressive a tread pattern. Not objectionably loud at all. Ive got 3,000 miles on them and like them so far.

I like a quiet ride. I rode Nitto and Hankook for a few sets - too much noise after about 10,000 miles for this old man.

Got these put on today, set me back right around 1K and they look really good on the truck. 10ply, E-range payload. Couldn't be happier with how they look and looking forward to seeing how they perform as well.

I doubt I will ever put anything on my truck but BFG all terrains. I have had 2 sets go over 95k miles and just put my 3rd set on.

Are the BFG's E range? How many others have you tried in an E-range on a 1/2 ton? If you keep up with rotation that isn't out of the ordinary to expect.

I've only put the BFG load range E after I went through 2 sets of factory Dueler A/T's load range D at around 60k total for those.
