I recently got an H12 and excited to take it out for duck season. Maybe next season upgrade my manual motor for a trolling motor.

I got a kayak paddle, not too bad if I have to paddle this rig.

Where do you keep your decoys? How does it do when the water has a little chop to it?

We don't have that exact rig but we use kayaks. We haul decoys in a sled behind the kayak. I don't even know it's there when paddling.

No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.

I can get 2 dozen deeks in the back, there is room under the moter, that is probably 18 hear. I can store them upfront as well.

If the wind is over 7mph, you don’t want to take it out in the middle of the lake, but if you got in tough situation, and good driving, and you are on the gas and got that nose up, she will get it done. I have been in huge waves, like surfing. When it is winding, I don’t like to get too far from shore.

You have a trailer for it or can it fit in a bed of a truck?

Home made trailer, bought it from a THF member, in think $50. It’s the perfect trailer for this boat.

The motor is a 7hp Subaru, they don’t make them any more. The lower unit is a Stumpjumper, Bill’s Engineering.

TX numbers?

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

I think he is trying to ask if it has to be registered and get the TX numbers that go on the side. Awesome set up Guy!

I still don’t get it, I don’t know what “TX numbers” are or what they refer to.

Oh ok registration numbers, yeah you register boat with TPWD, that number goes on the side. It’s cover up with grass. Been a long time since I messed with doing that, you only do it once.
