Both will work for you, Carbon bolts hold up to many uses better than Al bolts with the straightness factor.

Remember this with the same straightness of the bolts heavy bolts will be more accurate and make the bow fractionally quieter (often enough to notice)

When I have to replace the bolts I have it will most likely be some I have recomended and sold many times Carbon Express Pile Drivers

Yes looks like you are good with those.

I have tried lots of different bolts over the years and selling lots of bows and bolts getting customer feedback. I am still using some Parker Redhot bolts and still have a couple boxes of them unopened. The wife had never shot a crossbow until this week and she is nailing 2 inch dors out to 35 yards. I think she is about ready for season. The redhots with 125gr head gets me to 425gr bolt weight that is what the old Parker Tornado manual said for min bolt weight.

Good luck this season

I use either a 304 or 307 stainless steel or a galvanized bolt working around water. Sometimes a grade 8 is needed if a significant sheer factor is an issue.

I prefer carbon. It’s a bit heavier, so you have more power with it. Everyone obsesses over speed, but today’s technology is so good that you have plenty of speed. Also, carbon seems to be less expensive than aluminum, which is a plus.
