I have squirrels chewing my house so they need to go. Any recommendations on a good pellet gun to take them out with?

How noise sensitive is your location?

Take a look at the Benjamin Marauder videos on YouTube. An RWS 350 would be cheaper and more convenient, but most springer air rifles are quite loud. On the other hand, you might be able to get away with the occasional well-timed shot.

I'm just gonna leave this here: www.gatewaytoairguns.orgMy opinion, you can't go wrong with a RWS 34 and especially with a sub-12 fpe Vortek PG2 kit. Quiet and accurate, powerful enough and backyard friendly.

Airforce Talon SS in .177 cal. Your neighbor will never know you pulled the trigger.
They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason!

I have a Benjamin, .22 with a good optic. I've just about decimated the squirrel population in my neighborhood for the same reason. Probably killed 50+ over the last two years. The few that I have missed are smart, they don't come back. This pellet gun is awesome, shoots a 17 gr. .22 pellet about 1200 fps and is very accurate. I'll check the model for you later. It wasn't cheap, I think a couple hundred or so but I have had a ball with it. Something to keep me occupied when I'm stuck in town and haven't been to the lease in a while. It's a killer. I read up thoroughly on my local laws and ordinances. This thing is loud, but I'm within the law so no big deal.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

Ya know on second thought, at backyard range, I think most store shelf breakbarrels will get it done discreetly. Especially shooting squirrels off the gutters of the roof and inside the attick. .22's are usually just a little quieter than .177's. A Gamo Varmint is some $80 at academy and should work out fine for you.
Just don't forget to mount with scope stop pin and strangle the scope screws as tight as you reasonably believe you can without stripping. And use blue loctite 242. Or it will creep in the rings and slide in the rails regardless of the brand of mounts. It's too light and transmits all the whiplash to the scope.

FWIW, I have a Daisy Powerline 880. One of the cheapest out there and not very fast. I shoot pellets at about 500 fps. But after trying out several different pellets I found some that shoot nickel size groups at 40 ft. Killed another squirrel today at 30 ft. Probably the 15th in about 3 yrs. They won't leave my humming bird feeder alone, so they have to go.One good hit is all it ever takes. Unless your going to shoot over 25 or 30 yes. there are a lot of good buys out there.

I can vouch for that too. Under $50 the 880 is about as good as it gets, will kill squirrels and in my experience pushed lead pellets closer to 650-700 on ten pumps.
