Anybody have experience dove hunting the Chap? Its a 5 hour drive for me so curious if the area draws/holds dove.

Some years it can be fantastic but the last 10+ have been pretty bad for me. I've dove hunted it since 1996.

True. Was going to use the opportunity to recon the area for upcoming quail season as well. Decided to pass this time around. Maybe as we get closer to quail season I will make a weekend trip of it.
