Texas Outdoor Annual
Just learned about this app last weekend. Download the app, enter your customer # off your paper license and your last name and the app displays your current and previous years licenses including type of license, HIP certification as well as Hunting, Fishing, Boating regulations or purchase Licenses online, by phone or locate a retailer.

Yep, but the GW is still going to want to see your paper license if you are hunting anything that requires a tag.

I wasn't planning on not carrying my paper license, I just thought it would be better than carrying a paper Outdoor Annual in my glove box and have access to my license information. I know it isn't a replacement I just thought it was cool app.

I don't disagree.

I think they want you to use it to register any does shot this year, maybe for archery only I am not sure. I downloaded it for that reason but never opened it yet.

I buy a super combo every year and personally I NEVER shoot my fish so I think this app would work if the Game Warden pulled up to my boat. I don't believe you are required to tag dove or quail so it might work for that kind of hunting. For those of you that are paranoid about apps and guns I DO unload my shotgun when I see the Warden coming when I am dove hunting. I could then pull out my phone instead of my wallet and I think we would all be safe. muyloco
