Why would neither of them say a thing? Someone should ask coach O if he told anyone that the ac wasn't working. He said before hand that he knew the ac wasn't working, so he brought some swap coolers with them. Why wouldn't he call texas and ask if the ac was going to be fixed by game day? Doesn't make sense. Especially since he had prior knowledge.

I would definitely ask Coach O if he spoke to anyone at Texas about the situation, same with tech. Not the home and home, but if tech told anyone. If both say no then you would have to wonder how honest they are being.

Just seems odd for LSU to come out saying that, only to have UT come out and say the opposite. Could this have been a prank gone awry? If so, this could have seriously hurt someone. The chances of this are very low in the category of athlete we are talking about, but rhabdomyolysis is a serious, life threatening condition that can come from over-exertion and not enough hydration.

Having said that, why would Coach O say we usually give IVs at HT and then turn around and say they didn't because everyone felt ok. In my mind, if they knew it was hot, and they have the ability, hook every player up to an IV and give them some fluids. Why not, what are you hurting? Seems odd in my mind...

This whole thing seems HS, or better yet, Jr HS level...

IF it were a prank, the La Tech coach wouldn't have said the exact same thing happened to them IMO. Unless UT played the same prank on a lowly LT program. I wouldn't think so. UT is desperate to be relevant, and they're not, again.

It's pretty obvious that Orgeron was trying to cover up the fact that his players were not hydrated properly for the game.

Nothing but crickets...... now.

Hell, I'll be honest I wanted to find out if it was true or not, because I would of been very disappointed in Texas if it were true. I would like to believe they were above those kinds of shenanigans. The whole thing didn't make much sense. Glad Chris Del Conte wanted to set the record straight, and got down to the bottom of it.

Now we can all move on. Time to pack up and head to Houston for the Rice game.
