What are your plans to fill your time and where to live?

18 months for me. Moving to rural Idaho. Continue to be a traveling bird hunter, and fish a few Idaho lakes within a couple hours.

Wife and I will travel thru out Canada for a month or so every summer.

Babysitting grandkids just isn’t my cup of tea.

I'm 65 years old and ranching is my life. I'll probably retire when they throw that first spade of dirt in my face.

I got married.
Twice
I got divorced.

Once with two lovely children.
Went to divorce court.
Twice
In Texas.
I’m almost 65.
I gotta figure a way to work ten more years after I’m dead just to break even.

Been retired 10 years and it's disappointing how much time I've wasted away doing nothing.

Stay Busy time fly's by.

Started my second year retired this month. Hunting, fishing and a great garden this year. We started keeping our 3 month old granddaughter this morning as my DIL went back to work. We have a trip over the big pond planned for next year. We try to do a big trip somewhere every other year. We have 3 old dogs that kind of keep us around home. Not wanting them to pass but when they do we plan on doing way more trips in the USA. Our Lab will go with us or stay with friends that loves her.

Been retired since 2009. Love it. Do what I want when I want (unless it conflicts with the wife). I have hobbies, like woodworking and hunting/shooting and tennis teaching. Oh, and fishing. And travel trailering. And sometimes I just take the day off and read. Wife and I are truly blessed with health, happiness, and sufficient funds.

I forgot to mention reading. I'm never not reading.

Twelve years left for me.
My and my RV will be traveling until they take my drivers license away. Not much of a plan,.. North during Summer( British Columbia,Vermont, Alaska, ..all of Canada) then South during summer( Keys, Texas, Arizona..etc). At first no gps, just drive and end up where I end up. Take exits/roads that look interesting. Seeing everything.

Get away from the Stress of life.

That's my plan anyway.

I could retire just about any time, I guess. Not sure when I'll finally pull pitch, though.

In 21 days I can retire from my current job, not that I'm counting. I'm too young to retire for good so I will have to start another career for 12 more years.

I’m 48, will retire in 2.5 years from current job.

Most likely get another job, to pull in 2 checks for a few years.

I "retired" in 2000 with 32 years of government service. Since then I had my own business feeding deer leases for out of town hunters, spent a year driving an over the road truck. Then I took an EMT class "just to learn." Next thing I know I passed, I'm nationally certified, and was asked to work. Had the opportunity to take the class for the next level of EMT, lo and behold, passed that one too and got certified. Now I'm working 48 on and 96 off. I'll be 70 in November.

But, I am NOT going to go for paramedic. It would never stop.

I'm 76 and retired about 10 years ago. Wife is younger and wants to work another 18 months. I've hit the spot where I can't think of anything that I really want to do by myself. I spend some time at my place South of Bowie where I never run out of things to do but there are very few things that really have to be done. That's good because it's too dang hot to mess with stuff outdoors. My health is still reasonably good and I'm thankful for that.

I often say that retirement is the most boring job I've ever had. I gotta get a life.

18 years past it and should have done it sooner but the money was too good.
