Howdy, this year will be my first year duck hunting with my buddies who are avid duck hunters. They hunt in kayaks most often, however their kayaks are already camouflaged and ready to go for the most part. I have a Ascend 12T, in lime green. I bought the lime green for visibility and safety purpose while fishing out on public lakes due to boaters, but obviously this is a problem with hunting. Without painting or making any permanent markings, is there a way to make a removable yet easy duck "blind" per say for this kayak?

First, I think your buddies can best help you. They've got a style of hunting and can tell you how to do it.
That said, there are many ways to use a kayak to hunt. You can use it to paddle and then stash it, or you can actually hunt out of it.
If you told us you were hunting alone, I would tell you that for starters, go to Academy and spend $30 on a couple of camo burlap sheets.
If you get to where you want to hunt and find reeds you could sit in, then the burlap will cover your kayak. If there is absolutely nowhere to hide and a lot of mud, you could lay in the kayak and cover you and the boat with burlap. It's not beautiful, but it will work as a makeshift "layout" blind. And then if you decide you like using your boat as a blind, you can think about more expensive options.

We have that problem. Our kayaks are orange and blue. First year we took burlap and 3d leaf and rigged covers. This year we bought kayak covers. It looks like they will cover well.

The 3d leaf we used in the past I sprayed with brown and an off green to mute the wood and leaf colors. We cut a section out of the middle, like a flap, that we used to cover with. Whatever you build, add straps or ties to add grass material or reeds, depending on where you hunt. We just took zip ties with us

You'll need to figure out how to keep the sides covered where the flap is. We just laid burlap crosswise and sat on it. That way when you pull the flap up the sides don't drop down and show the color.

Considering the cost of materials and time, the little extra cost for the pre made cover would be worth it. I would buy the cover and a bag of black zip ties and be done with it. Then mud it and brush it with natural material from where your hunting. If you build your own with burlap or use burlap as a cover, know that burlap gets heavy when it is wet and will rot if you leave it rolled up or folded with any dampness after the hunt.

As already mentioned I would first inquire with your friends to see how they hunt. If they are only using the kayaks for access and not hunting from them, you will only need to drop off your gear then leave your kayak far down the bank, covered with a camo tarp, or dragged up into the grass or woods. I have camo kayaks but half the time I only use one to drop off a layout blind and park it down the bank. A layout blind is much more comfortable than laying in the boat.

Rattle can over the lime green with brown/tan/earth colors till after duck season. Rattle can over the duck season layer with blaze orange/neon green for fishing season.

Neon green kayak, I'd just use it to get to the hunting spot and then cover it up 100 yards away with a camo tarp.

This. If you don’t want to paint it, this is gonna be the easiest option, or buy a new one. Burlap is gonna be a chore once it gets wet. Could go with the cover but with dekes, shotgun and whatever other gear you’ll have it’s gonna get crowded quick
