The ogre. I love it and when your contract is up you don't have to find a new one and pay out the wazoo because you forget and end up paying .15 cents a kwh.

No since you need to be able to select any provider in the state.

The morning paper reported that many of the providers were not updating their information since the rates went up.

What kind of rates are folks getting with these services? I mean grand total per KWH including all fees and taxes?

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

I have been using energy Ogre about 3 yrs and have saved quite a bit.

We used 1811 KW hrs and total bill was $163.41 That figures to 9 cents per KW thats fees and taxes included.

We are with ourenergy. Will be till next May.

Them rates at Power to choose can be misleading, Some don't include the energy charge or pass thru charge or taxes.

You have to take your statement and figure the entire bill including taxes and fees and the KW hrs used to get the true amount you are paying for electricity.

What is the name of the plan? That has to be before other fees and delivery costs as the lowest rates i can find for them right now is 8.9 cents for 12 months based on 2000 kwh. It's in the EFL and TXU has traditionally always been the most expensive in the state. If you aren't looking at the EFL you are not getting the whole truth.

My bill is out of sight with TXU so I'm looking for a change now. Staying tuned...

Watch the cheap stuff or some of um. Years ago at a place in West Texas (Odessa) went with Ambit and a Guy on here that was selling the plan. 6 or 7 cents a KW. Oncor/TXU hit me with a 100 buck delivery fee every month plus juice. Was shutting down out there at the time and delivery fee was more than the juice. Don't remember but think I had to buy the plan out and went back to TXU/Oncor and and 11 cents a KW and 5 buck delivery fee.

Nope. You're married to them unfortunately.

I'm stuck with TVEC. Paying $0.11 once you figure in the customer charge. Stupid.
