I have never killed a mallard drake and at my age my bucket list has a lot of things that may never get filled. If you are guide that has a small group that wouldn't mind a stranger joining in, would you PM me please. No one I know bird hunts much less duck hunts. Yes, I will pay my part.
Thanks for the consideration.

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

Never even seen one in the wild around here, but there is a member on here named "Guy" that piles them up like cord wood, you should PM him.

I don't think he's a guide, late in the season (if we get some good cold weather) they will be up north. There was a guy that was on here that slipped me in with his friends, Silver something guide once and saw a few when we picked up bang Wish I would have stayed another day, didn't bring enough $$$.

If I was you, I'd look into hunting Arkansas. Have a timber hunt, that'll be the most fun you can have.

yes hunting the timber can be fun. He can also do that in East Tx.. If I was the OP I would head NW to the peanut fields around Proctor. When i had a place to hunt between Ranger and Eastland mallards were all I killed. I got 5 with 3 shots once. I did not intend to but when you have hundreds coming down on 1/4 acre pond it is tough not to.

Silver Creek Guides is the name if I'm not mistaken.

We kill em up in North Texas, I hunt private land but you might hit up Muddy Water Outfitter or Dry Creek Outfitters, they both hunt around me.

We shoot a lot of mallards in North Texas. You are more than welcome to join us for a hunt if you are willing to drive this far north.
